Revised October 2026
What this site collects, who sees it, and how to have it removed. Written in plain language because that is the only kind we have.
Last updated October 7, 2026.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect what you type into the form: the material, how much, your city or zip code and any street or neighborhood you give, when you need it, whether a truck can reach the spot, whether you are a homeowner or a business, your name, phone number, email address and notes. We also record the date and time and the network address the request came from, which helps us stop spam.
When you apply as a supplier, we collect your business name, your name, email, phone, website, the areas and materials you chose and your message.
Browsing the site collects nothing personal. If analytics are enabled they are anonymized page counts and do not identify you.
Who sees it
A quote request is shared with one local supplier or hauler that serves your area and material, so they can quote and deliver. That is the whole reason you sent it. They receive the request by email and may call or email you. They are independent businesses and are not controlled by this site. We ask them to use your details only to quote and fulfill your request.
A copy of every request also goes to the site operator so we can make sure you were answered. Supplier applications go only to the operator.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not add you to any list.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for up to two years so we can follow up on problems and see which areas get requests. Email us to have yours removed sooner.
Cookies
The public site sets no cookies. The private admin area used by the operator sets one session cookie that is only sent there.
Your choices
Email hello@birminghamdirt.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will do it within ten business days and tell the supplier who received it to do the same.
Children
This site is for adults arranging deliveries and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
