Requests from your side of town

People in the Birmingham area come to this site when they need fill dirt, topsoil, gravel or a pile hauled off. They say what they need, how much, where and when, and leave a name and phone number. That request goes to one supplier for that city and that material. If that is you, it lands in your email within seconds and nobody else gets it.

How it works

• Pick your areas: twenty-five cities across Jefferson, Shelby and St. Clair counties. Take one, take a county, take them all.
• Pick your materials: fill dirt, topsoil, gravel and stone, dirt removal and grading. Take the ones you carry.
• Every request in those cells comes to you by email, with the customer's phone number, the material, the amount, the address area, the timing and whether a truck can get in. You call them and quote. We are not in the middle of the sale.
• One supplier per cell: when you hold fill dirt in Hoover, nobody else gets fill dirt requests from Hoover. Areas are first come, first served.

What it costs

Founding suppliers get their areas free for the first 60 days. After that it is a flat monthly fee, no contract, no commission on your sales, and nothing is billed until it is agreed in writing:

• One city, one material: $149 a month
• One city, all four materials: $349 a month
• One county, one material: $599 a month
